Cover Feature! Esoterica 1 Cover Art!

 Hello, everyone! I'm featuring the awesome cover art for Esoterica 1 today. Let's take a look at the image and break it down.

This is Carmilla. She is named after the character written by Sheridan Le Fanu, one of history's first vampires in literature. However, she kind of hints in the text of the story that she took her name in homage from a Castlevania character of the same name. However, to make sure readers get the original reference, her familiar (a squirrel) is named Sheridan.

She is a vampire, or more specifically a dhampir, but she acquired her powers not by mixed birth but through a blood ritual. She is one of my favorite characters in the Esoterica series!

Esoterica 1 will be released on August 28th 2021 and is going to be upgraded from novella to full-length novel. More news on that, and the rest of my business plan, in a future post!
